Terms & Conditions

eFlightLog is operated by Mojave Capital LLC ("the seller"), trading as eFlightLog. Mojave Capital LLC is the legal entity you contract with when you use the service. By creating an account or continuing to use eFlightLog you accept these terms.
The service
eFlightLog is a digital pilot logbook: you record flights, aircraft and qualifications, and the app calculates the totals FAA Form 8710-1 asks for. The service is free to use, all features are available to every account, and voluntary one-time contributions help cover hosting and development.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell the seller promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. That includes:
- using it for anything unlawful, or to defraud, spam or mislead others;
- infringing someone else's intellectual property, or logging data you have no right to hold;
- interfering with its security — spreading malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, scraping or extracting records by automated means without permission;
- attempting to reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or circumvent the limits of the software.
Your records and the seller's property
You own the flight records, profile details and narratives you enter. You grant the seller a limited licence to host and process them solely so the service can be provided to you; they are not sold or shared for advertising. The software, documentation and branding remain the seller's property, and no rights are granted beyond using the service.
Service level
The service is provided "as is". While the seller works to keep it available and accurate, there is no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free performance. Logbook records matter: keep your own export or backup of anything you cannot afford to lose, and verify totals against your paper records before filing a form.
Contributions and payments
Contributions are voluntary one-time payments. They are not a purchase of a subscription and do not change the features available to you.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).
Refunds are available under the Refund Policy linked below.
Suspension and termination
The seller may suspend or terminate access to an account for a material breach of these terms, non-payment where payment is required, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, you may ask for an export of your records for 30 days; after that they may be deleted. You can close your account at any time.
Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties — including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — are disclaimed. The seller's aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the amount you contributed in the six months before the claim (or zero if you have not contributed), and indirect, consequential or special losses are excluded. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Changes, governing law and disputes
These terms may be updated as the service changes; material changes will be announced in the app. They are governed by applicable United States law. Before bringing a dispute, the parties will try in good faith to resolve it by writing to the seller.
