Privacy Notice

Last updated 24 October 2026

Mojave Capital LLC ("the seller"), trading as eFlightLog, operates the service and is the data controller for the personal data described here. This notice explains what is collected, why, who receives it, how long it is kept, and what you can ask for.

Data collected and why

When you choose AI flight review, selected flight records, remarks and up to 2,000 characters of each narrative are processed through Lovable AI Gateway and its AI provider to identify possible data-quality concerns. Account credentials and Pilot Profile information are not sent. Findings are advisory, and flight records change only after pilot confirmation.

  • Account data — email address and password credentials, used to create and secure your account and to reach you about it (legal basis: performance of the contract to provide the service).
  • Profile data you enter — name, address, phone, certificate number, ratings and earned dates, medical class and dates, and currency dates, used to hold your pilot record and alert you when something is due (legal basis: your consent, since these fields are optional).
  • Flight records you enter — dates, aircraft, routes, hours, landings and narratives, used to produce your logbook and FAA Form 8710-1 totals (legal basis: performance of the contract).
  • Contribution records — amount, date, currency and transaction reference for any contribution you make, used to show your history in the app and to keep accounting records (legal basis: legitimate interests, and legal obligation for tax and accounting).
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device details, and log entries, used to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and diagnose faults (legal basis: legitimate interests).

Payment card details are collected and processed by the payment provider, not by the seller, and so are not described in this notice.

Who receives data

  • Hosting, database and email service providers that run the platform the app is built on.
  • Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record, for the sale of contributions, subscription management where applicable, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and, where needed, lawyers.
  • Public authorities, but only where the seller is required by law to disclose.

Personal data is never sold, and is not shared for advertising.

Retention

Account, profile and flight data is kept while your account is open. If you close your account, records are deleted or anonymised within 30 days, except where the seller must keep an item for accounting or tax purposes — contribution records are kept for that reason.

Your rights

Where applicable to you, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent for optional fields and communications. Ask at steve@mocapllc.com; the seller will respond within 30 days. You can also delete your own records in the app at any time. If you are in the UK or EEA you may complain to your supervisory authority; the app is United States–focused, and data is hosted there, so transfers outside your country rely on the safeguards the platform provider applies.

Security

The seller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures — access controls, encrypted connections, and database row-level security that scopes each record to the signed-in pilot. No system is perfectly secure, so a strong, unique password for this account is worth using.

Cookies

eFlightLog uses only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember small display preferences such as which totals tables are open. There are no advertising or marketing cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

The service is built for licensed pilots and is not directed at anyone under 16. The seller does not knowingly hold data about children and will delete it if made aware of it.
